We know where it is and have taken the vacuum hose off to reveal it at the back of the motor. We have bought the new one, but we don't know how to change it. The other one just sits in there and spins around and that is about all we know.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

on the passenger side of the valve cover is a plastic nut attached to a vacuum hose. pull the nut off and then take some needle nose pliers and simply pull the old one out of the hole. push new one in reinstall nut and your goodHow do you Change the PCV valve on a %26039;97 Cavalier 2.2L?
just pull the old one out. it just sit in the rubber groment
