the pcv valve is pretty simple. it's an L shaped plastic thing a little smaller than a deck of cards. it should be on your valve cover, and have a black hose that leads to your carb. remove the black hose, pull out the pcv valve, put in a new one, then attach the hose. while you are at it, you might as well replace the hose. take it with you to the auto parts store and get a similar size length of hose. the valve is 2-4 bucks and the hose is probably a dollar.
